We value our distribution partners as the gateway into the community

NewThreads does not make direct distributions to individuals; rather over the years we have formed partnership with hundreds of different nonprofits that reach out to a wide variety of people in need.

We take great care in finding the most effective agencies that work closely with those they serve, not only to address their physical needs but also to provide the counseling and other support services these individuals will need to get back on their feet.

Each year we partner with at least one hundred charitable organizations, many new and some with whom we have worked in the past, ensuring our merchandise reaches those who truly need it most.

We partner with organizations that help families in need and strengthen our communities, providing care and support through:

• Caring for Children - Infant and Child Welfare Initiatives, Education & School Support, and Support for Adoption & Foster Care

• Helping Men and Women to Re-engage in Society - Employment, Criminal Justice, Recovery & Substance Abuse and Women in Crisis

• Support for Independent Living - Assistance for the Chronically Ill, Services to Seniors, Services to Those Affected by Mental Illness, and Transitional Services to the Homeless

• Responding to Worldwide Emergency Needs - Disaster Relief, Immigrants & Refugees and International Aid

A large percentage of our partners are located throughout the Greater Milwaukee Community.  However, we donate:

• Around the Greater Milwaukee Community

• Across the state of Wisconsin

• Throughout the Nation

• Internationally (via domestic partners)

Those interested in becoming a NewThreads partner must fill out an application by clicking the button below.  Our staff will be in contact with you after we have reviewed your information.  

To receive a donation from NewThreads you must:

• Be a 501(c)(3) agency

• Support those listed in our above impact areas

• Sign paperwork agreeing not to sell or auction any part of a donation from NewThreads

• ​Not require attendance at faith based ceremonies to receive a donation
